Comparing the Peg Perego Siesta and the Baby Bjorn high chair...

I have been asked a few times what high chair I recommend for babies. I have used many brands of chairs previously for my older boys and Kingsley. I can confidently say that Peg Perego is my favourite all around practical chair. I had purchased Peg Perego Prima Pappa's for each of the boys and it was always durable, comfortable, easy to roll around and overall a win. The new Siesta I got for Apple is perfect!

I also own the baby Bjorn high chair so I am going to show some side by side photos. The Bjorn is a really good option for a compact chair that is incredibly easy to wash!
When I suggest brands or products I really like to tell why I pick something and to help you make the right choice. This is often why I prefer to show my top choices and let you decide what fits your home best.
I love the Peg Perego because it is soft and padded for the baby. It also has a nice recline if you chose to use it at a younger age as a seat for a smaller baby while cooking or doing dishes. The wheels are something I know I can not live without. I spend a lot of time cooking and being in the kitchen. (A relaxing pastime for me.) I like to chat up my babies so it is nice to be able to wheel them around and near me. There are simple "stop" and "go" buttons for the brake. The footrest makes for a comfortable seat for the baby and it is totally cozy to sit in longer while watching mommy. The tray is a double tray and that is good to easily run under hot water when it gets super messy! The pocket behind the seat provides storage for her bib and the height adjustment can be set to tall for interaction or short for feeding or watching little brother play. I have never had issues scrubbing down my seats with the "leatherish" fabrics and of course the vinyl that I had for Braedy eighteen years ago was simple to wash. It comes with a five point harness that holds baby in place well and can be converted to three point (only waist area).

Once again this is daddy's love! He has troubles feeding Apple at times and makes quite the mess. He likes how easy it is to wipe down after they finish feeding. It usually looks like a bomb of food went off on her chair! It has a nice small footprint for those who are space conscious. I really love it pulled up to the table as a chair when we eat. It tucks right in perfectly. The double tray is a moderate size and washes under hot water in a snap! The chair is made with a three point harness so it is easy to buckle. The chair can fold if you needed to put it out of the way when you have company. I really think this would be great for grandparents.
